position
wax potting?

Alnico 5 poles provide lots of twang and warmth.  A hot bridge pickup is perfectly balanced to a neck pickup with just the right amount of brightness and bell-like tone.  More volume and lows than my “Anonymous” Tele set.  Wax potting helps prevent microphonics and screeching in high-gain applications, but a lot of vintage pickups were not wax potted and have a little more open and clear tone.  Opt for a reverse-wound/reverse-polarity neck pickup for a hum-canceling effect when you use the middle position on your 3-way Telecaster switch.

All of my pickups are made to your custom specs.  Please allow two weeks after ordering for your pickups to be delivered.

Here is a comparison of the Broadway bridge pickup and the Workingman’s bridge pickup played through a Fulltone OCD, Strymon Flint Reverb and a modded Fender Champion 600 with the same guitar and the same settings.  You will notice the Broadway has more highs and clarity while the Workingman is fatter and has a bit more growl.
