After the CBS takeover of Fender, building materials for Stratocasters changed and things got a lot more automated on the assembly line, which wasn’t entirely a bad thing. Enlarged headstocks of the 70’s are very popular, and the pickups are awesome too. Scatterwound coils with plain enamel wire had slightly less windings for an aggressive tone with more clarity and highs. These have hand beveled and weakened magnets like naturally aged pickups. Complete with grey bottom bobbins and vintage leads. Wax potted for fewer microphonics. RW/RP middle pickup for hum-canceling in positions 2 and 4 of your Stratocaster switch.
All of my pickups are made to your custom specs. Please allow two weeks after ordering for your pickups to be delivered.
